We're seeking highly skilled professionals to join our field teams as Solution Engineers. These experts will collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to provide technical expertise and guidance to customers.

The Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in helping customers realize the full potential of Snowflake's cutting-edge data platform. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Presenting Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
  • Collaborating with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors
  • Cultivating relationships with stakeholders across various departments

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience working in customer-facing sales engineering roles
  • Strong proficiency in modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data science, and data analytics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and executive-level audiences
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL (bonus points for Python knowledge)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data Science expertise and experience
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
  • Software development experience with Java, Spark, and other scripting languages
  • Extensive knowledge of large-scale database technology and cloud data platforms
