Senior Data Engineer Position

We are a cutting-edge tech company, combining human expertise with AI to create scalable technology solutions.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy innovative data solutions while contributing to our data practice in Australia.

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Azure services for ingestion, transformation, and curation of data. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, data modellers, and stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.

The ideal candidate has more than 6 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics projects covering data ingestion, transformation, curation, and delivery. Strong knowledge of modern data file formats including Delta Tables, Apache Iceberg, and Parquet is required.

Azure Data Factory and related frameworks are essential skills for this role. Experience with cloud data services preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem, with exposure to AWS or GCP as an advantage.

Additional responsibilities include implementing performance-optimized and secure data workflows ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards. You will also translate business requirements into technical solutions leveraging Azure components and services.

This position requires excellent communication skills, adaptability in diverse situations, and the ability to mentor junior team members. A passion for data, coding, and problem-solving is essential.

Requirements and Qualifications:
