Refrigeration Coordinator Job Summary

This role is crucial for ensuring seamless refrigeration system operations by coordinating between technical teams, vendors, and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Monitor refrigeration systems for performance issues and notify the appropriate personnel for troubleshooting and maintenance
    • Generate reports on system performance, maintenance schedules, and incidents for stakeholders
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections for refrigeration systems
    • Coordinate schedules for routine maintenance and emergency repairs with technicians and vendors to minimize downtime
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Act as the primary point of contact between refrigeration technicians, facility managers, and external vendors for communication and issue resolution
    • Communicate system alerts or malfunctions promptly to relevant teams and stakeholders
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Ensure all refrigeration logs, compliance records, and safety certifications are up-to-date and filed appropriately for audits and regulatory purposes
    • Assist with audits and provide documentation for refrigeration-related operations and maintenance
  • Inventory and Supplies Management:
    • Track and manage inventory related to refrigeration, including spare parts and refrigerant supplies
    • Order necessary materials and maintain an organized supply system to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • General Administrative Tasks:
    • Answer phone calls, handle correspondence, and manage data entry for refrigeration-related operations
    • Support budgeting and cost-tracking for refrigeration maintenance and repairs to optimize resource allocation
    Requirements:
    • Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a technical or facilities management environment
    • Familiarity with refrigeration systems or facility operations is an advantage
    • Tech Savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration and issue resolution
    • Knowledge of refrigeration monitoring software or related technologies to ensure optimal system performance
    • Understanding of safety and compliance requirements for refrigeration systems to maintain a safe working environment
