Chill Plant Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished system expert to oversee the conception, implementation, and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems within cold storage facilities.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and supervise the installation of refrigeration systems for cold storage warehouses.
  • Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning units, refrigeration units, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and electrical engineers to integrate mechanical systems into overall facility designs.
  • Evaluate energy usage and recommend cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local and international building codes, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering in cold storage.
  • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, industrial chillers, compressors, condensers, and cold room insulation systems.
  • Knowledgeable with CAD software and other engineering design tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
