Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Security Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and documentation of business delivery needs to ensure the highest quality change.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in BA, data, and testing activities, with experience in NIST and ACSC Standards, and previous Cyber Security initiatives.

You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze and explain the feasibility of security options, recommend responses, and build relationships at all levels to ensure alignment between business strategy, technology, security, and solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and obtain sign-off of business, functional, and non-functional requirements aligned with Aurecon PMO and security standards
  • Work with business, IT teams, and vendors to analyze and explain the feasibility of security options and recommend responses
  • Build and maintain exceptional business and technology stakeholder relationships
  • Collect process information and document in defined templates
  • Raise issues and risks and propose work arounds and resolutions for problem resolution

Data Analysis Activities:

  • Analyze large data sets into meaningful output for consumption by stakeholders
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze, monitor, manage, and predict impacts of business scenarios
  • Initiate and perform ad hoc queries to identify potential security issues within data sets
  • Uplift data capture and analysis processes to improve analytical outcomes

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of Australian Cyber Security Centre and NIST Framework
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or IT discipline
  • Agile/Scrum master training
  • Testing methodologies and planning
  • Business Analysis Certification (BABOK – Level 3 CBAP)
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to interpret data and understand business issues and consequences
