We are seeking a highly skilled Custom Furniture Designer to join our team. As an essential member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating detailed custom furniture shop drawings, conducting rendering and takeoffs, and ensuring precise execution of designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed millwork and furniture shop drawings based on architectural and interior design specifications
  • Generate accurate takeoffs and material lists to aid in project estimation
  • Develop high-quality 3D renderings to visualize design concepts
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Ensure drawings are fabrication-ready with correct dimensions, joinery details, and material specifications
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in millwork drafting, furniture detailing, or interior architectural drafting is essential.
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and Mozaik (or similar millwork software) is required.
  • A strong understanding of joinery, materials, and furniture construction methods is necessary.
  • Experience in rendering software for design visualization is beneficial.
  • The ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate them into detailed millwork shop drawings is crucial.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to produce highly accurate technical drawings is mandatory.
