We are seeking an exceptional Custom Furniture Designer to join our team. As a highly skilled professional, you will specialize in creating detailed and accurate technical drawings for custom furniture projects.

Your expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required, with a strong background in custom woodwork design being a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Prepare accurate shop drawings and construction details.
  • Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements.
  • Ensure all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication.
Requirements

To be successful as a Custom Furniture Designer, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required).
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork.
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques (highly preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings.
