Job Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Workday Payroll Specialist to lead the implementation and configuration of enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, independently managing workload, understanding customer requirements, designing and delivering tailored solutions aligned to their needs, and providing coaching support to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers through consultative communication and empathy.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues to meet project objectives.
  • Plan own workload and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Apply consulting skills, such as presenting and explaining functionality to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
  • Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll Certification (US payroll certification is a must).
  • Proven experience working in a consulting environment with customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial awareness and project dynamics understanding.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have:
  • Australian Payroll Experience.
  • Post deployment services experience.
