Job Title:

A detail-oriented and empathetic accounting professional with expertise in US tax filing and exceptional client communication skills is sought to manage client accounts, provide customer service, and handle bookkeeping and tax-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service by responding to client inquiries via various channels, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Manage client accounts through file management systems, organizing documents for tax filings.
  • Assist clients in gathering necessary documents for tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings, including quarterly reviews, tax planning, and general consultations.
  • Monitor the tax preparation pipeline and ensure clients submit required documents in a timely manner.
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, such as requesting access to financial systems, preparing journal entries, and assisting with 1099 management.
  • Manage communications for tax projections, extensions, and return filings.
  • Support tax preparers by resolving client questions, monitoring notes, and ensuring smooth completion of preparation stages.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting and US tax filing.
  • Strong ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and file management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is beneficial.
