This role reports to a senior accounting executive and is responsible for month-end tasks in conjunction with the corporate accounting team to prepare consolidated financial statements according to US GAAP standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid accounting background, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex reporting cycles. They will assist in timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures under US GAAP while maintaining various schedules supporting these documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures under US GAAP.
  • Maintain schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures.
  • Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany transactions, including equity method of accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.
  • Review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures.
  • Work extensively with ERP systems, building customized reports for data analysis and reconciliation purposes.
  • Suggest and support process improvements and efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; certified public accountant (CPA) or equivalent international certification is desirable.
  • 6-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in intercompany eliminations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze large datasets accurately.
