Job Overview

A Materials Management Assistant Manager oversees global processes for maintaining supply chain data management systems. This position involves leading a team, providing support and guidance to the global material management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily activities of Materials Management Supervisors and Coordinators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to align materials management strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance for team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

  • Accurate attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in managing databases and utilizing software for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and effective communication with internal teams and vendors across different regions.
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 4-year experience in procurement or supply chain management, or legal management.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, IT, or Supply Chain.
  • Skills / Competencies:
    • Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Understanding of international business practices, cultural nuances, and legal variations in different regions.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
    • Advanced Excel skills for reports and analysis.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen understanding of relevant cost drivers for demand management.
    • Efficient time and resource management to meet deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow.
    • Adaptability and ability to respond to issues.
