About the Job

This role involves designing and developing custom WordPress websites using various themes, plugins, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of industry best practices and standards.

Responsibilities
  • WordPress Design/Development: Build custom WordPress websites using themes, plugins, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Website Customization: Customize existing WordPress themes, plugins, and functionality to meet client requirements.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance and support, and communicate project progress, milestones, and timelines effectively.
  • Content Management: Manage and update website content, including images, text, multimedia elements, and other assets.
  • Website Optimization: Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance user experience and improve search engine rankings.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors in websites.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure websites meet project requirements, functionality, and cross-browser compatibility.
Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a WordPress Web Developer.
  • WordPress Expertise: In-depth knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
Technical Skills
  • HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery: Strong skills in these technologies in the context of WordPress development.
  • Graphics Editing and Optimization: Proficient in graphics editing and optimization tools like Adobe Suite and Canva.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
