Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Full Stack WordPress Engineer to join our team of skilled professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a creative flair.

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to support new features and design requirements.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and mockups for new WordPress website features and enhancements.
  • Ensure responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centred design across platforms.
  • Implement SEO best practices to maximise site visibility and performance.
  • Understand WordPress architecture, PHP, and MySQL; manage hosting environments, deployments, and database optimisation; troubleshoot performance and security issues on the server side.
  • Integrate WordPress with third-party tools (e.g. CRM, analytics, lead generation platforms).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot website performance, security, and technical issues.
  • Document processes, workflows, and updates for internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Experience working as an independent contractor for clients in Australia or similar markets.
  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and customise WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience managing WordPress CMS environments, including hosting, security, and updates.
  • Proven track record of developing responsive, cross-browser compatible websites.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and website performance optimisation.
