We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape our data infrastructure and processes. This is an opportunity for a foundational member of our global team to play a pivotal role in building and organizing a high-performing engineering function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts to recruit, mentor, and train new team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based systems using Apache Airflow, Kafka, and Snowflake.
  • Employ Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build robust cloud-based systems.
  • Improve Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes using Jenkins and GitLab to automate development, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain and monitor various data applications, pipelines, and databases.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading junior engineers.
  • Proficiency in Python with data manipulation frameworks like Pandas, Dask, or Pyspark and SQL.
  • REST API experience and building scalable API data platforms.
