Job Overview

The Central Ordering Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely procurement of materials and services required for various projects. This position involves collaborating closely with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to execute ordering activities effectively and align with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Lead the ordering team in purchasing materials and services, placing orders accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to project timelines.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Track supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking and implement best practices to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve ordering processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs by implementing new technologies and systems as necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with delivery managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that ordering activities support project goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on ordering activities, supplier performance, and cost savings, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all ordering activities comply with policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
