Responsibilities

  • Over-all management of the enterprise Supply Chain covering demand planning, order management, procurement, warehouse management and distribution.
  • Leads the development and review of policies, procedures and standards including program priorities and Budget Plans for the Supply Chain.
  • Defines the BSP Supply Chain metrics that will focus on supply chain reliability checks, centralized procurement, planning, warehousing, distribution, data security and confidentiality and other supply chain analytics.
  • Leads the information and resource sharing opportunities with business unit supply chain functional groups for reduced cost, combined/consolidated purchases, decreased transportation/delivery costs and minimized inventory cost.
  • Directs functional linkages both external and internal to ensure efficient supply chain system, functional partnership, and appropriate and value-adding supply network alliances.
  • Ensures that the food safety policy and quality management systems are established and are compatible with the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Facilitates integration of the QMS and FSSC requirements into the Supply Chain processes.
  • Ensures continuous communication on the importance of effective food safety requirements and conforming to the FSSC requirements, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and mutually agreed customer requirements related to food safety.
  • Ensures that the QMS and FSSC are evaluated and maintained to achieve its intended results.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in a managerial capacity in supply chain management or procurement
  • Bachelor's degree in Suupply Chain Management, Business Management or Industrial Engineering is preferred
