As a skilled technical professional, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing real-time databases and data systems to meet evolving client, product, and business needs - with a focus on performance, quality, and scalability.

Taking ownership of features end-to-end, from initial concept through deployment, you'll drive substantial product features as the key developer alongside an architect, backend developer or analyst.

  • Design, optimize and tune data systems and machine learning models to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership in architecture and design discussions, advocating for simple, elegant solutions that balance complexity and pragmatic results.
  • Lead by example in mentoring and supporting junior engineers, fostering a thoughtful, kind, and continuously learning team culture.
  • Champion best practices in quality, security, and operations, including CI/CD, monitoring, and privacy compliance.

Example projects may include building an AI-powered healthcare platform, launching a new fintech product from scratch, or scaling a global SaaS commerce system with millions of products.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of system architecture and make informed decisions with both data/codebase and business goals in mind.
  • Communicate clearly, raising issues early and contributing to reviews, and deliver what you commit to.

  • Experience with real-time databases, data systems, and machine learning models.
