Motor Insurance Sales Specialist

This role involves managing and maintaining business relationships with clients, calculating new business amounts covered and rates, encoding motor policies accurately, distributing motor policies to clients, explaining policy details to clients, computing and providing best quotations for motor insurance sales, creating monthly sales reports, communicating with clients about policy expiry reminders, computing and providing motor insurance quotations, issuing policies upon sale closure, sending renewed policies to clients and banks, advising clients on payment processes and coverage duration, and creating and submitting monthly renewal reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • • Calculating new business amounts covered and rates • Accurately encoding motor policies • Distributing motor policies to clients after issuance • Explaining policy details to clients, including deductibles during claims and necessary instructions for accident reports and documents • Computing and providing the best quotation to close motor insurance sales • Creating and submitting monthly sales reports and other required reports for the dealer • Communicating with clients to remind them of policy expiry • Computing and providing motor insurance quotations to clients • Issuing policies upon sale closure • Sending renewed policies to clients and banks (if mortgaged) • Advising clients on payment processes, including options via Metrobank, allowing days for payment, and the possibility of sending a representative for payment and policy pickup • Explaining policy coverage duration matching with plate number if desired • Advising clients on policy flow and coverage after sale closure • Assisting clients during claims processes • Advising on requirements and helping fill out the VARF • Checking completeness of claims documents • Explaining deductible and betterment share costs, especially for vehicles three years old and above, after repairs • Informs claimants about LOA status • Coordinates with clients when LOA is ready or if documents are pending • Provides updates on claims issues and concerns • Provides contact information of estimators and follow-up procedures for repairs when necessary • Proactively follows up on claims to meet turnaround time (TAT) targets
