Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our sales team as a retail sales associate.

This role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers to understand their needs, and providing excellent service to drive sales and meet customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Process transactions accurately and handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and promote products to customers.
  • Participate in visual merchandising activities to maintain an attractive store display.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
