About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our digital product development, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute comprehensive test plans, utilizing your expertise in testing methodologies to identify defects and ensure seamless functionality, performance, and stability.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and design, to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and expectations.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation is required, as well as knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a background in Web Application and API Testing, are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Identify and document defects using bug tracking systems, collaborating effectively with development teams to facilitate timely and efficient resolution.
  • Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts, working under the guidance of experienced engineers to improve testing efficiency.
  • Analyze test results to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement, making recommendations for preventing similar issues in the future.
  • Own and architect the regression testing process, ensuring existing features remain functional with new code changes.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Proven experience in software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Background in Web Application and API Testing.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with industry-standard test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Gherkin syntax for behavior-driven development (BDD).
  • Familiarity with BrowserStack as a testing tool.
  • Experience with SQL, AWS, and quantitative data analysis.
