Software Quality Assurance Specialist

This is an opening for a skilled software quality assurance specialist to oversee the testing and validation of web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand release scopes and timelines.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
- Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and UI/UX testing to identify defects.
- Validate release candidates and approve production deployments.
- Document and track bugs using internal tools.
- Develop and manage testing environments and data.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Ensure high-quality releases by acting as the final gatekeeper.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and automated QA for web and/or mobile apps.
- Proven ownership of release testing cycles in high-frequency development environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, Playwright, BrowserStack, Postman, etc.
- Ability to work across time zones with partial overlap with Sydney business hours.
- Strong English communication (written and verbal) and documentation habits.
- Autonomous, self-directed, and rigorous in maintaining quality standards.
