About the Role

The ABSI organization is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning and Insights Leader to join its team. This key role will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of the division's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
    • Prepare the Weekly and Monthly Operations Review Report and analyze actual performance of key business drivers vis-à-vis the plans and forecast.
  • Support Business Decision-Making
    • Assist in the quarterly outlook, annual budget, and annual business plan exercises.
    • Lead in the preparation and updating of the financial models for the quarterly outlook, annual budget, and annual business plans.
  • Controllership and Policy Development
    • Establish necessary Controllership policies and controls and prepare the related PPM.
    • Review business cases and major projects to ensure they are financially sound. Coordinate with various stakeholders to validate the soundness of assumptions used.
  • Financial Advisory Services
    • Act as a financial advisor/consultant to business areas and management.
    • Develop and maintain various financial and revenue models and standard templates to evaluate investment decisions, projects, and commercial commitments while ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytic review.
  • Presentation and Communication
    • Prepare presentation materials for required inputs to Board, Excom, Weekly Meetings, and Segment Mancom meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • CPA license strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial analysis, business analytics, or insighting.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to process and transform data into relevant financial information and has a keen eye for details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Productivity programs (specifically strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Knows the value of work and accountability.
  • Team player and results-oriented.
  • Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
