WHR Global Consulting, a leading global talent solution provider, seeks a seasoned Chief Finance Officer to drive financial strategy and growth for its client based in Fairview, QC.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a professional with extensive experience in finance leadership roles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate finance, risk management, and budgeting.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Oversee contract management, including designing program budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with donor and contractor requirements.

  • Lead the design and assessment of financial models, reports, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.

  • Maintain internal systems, controls, processes, and procedures to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with legal counsel on contracts, intellectual property, grant agreements, and other matters as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education:

  • A graduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA certification and preferably an MBA or higher post-graduate degree.

  • Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in the hospital or school/academe industry.

  • Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, risk management, and budgeting.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • High level of integrity, dependability, and results orientation.
