Job Title: Software Engineering Specialist

 

Job Description:

As a seasoned software development professional, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing complex software systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to design and develop innovative solutions.

Your primary focus will be on designing and developing code and configuration for assigned IT applications or platforms. You will also be responsible for producing detailed specifications for system functions, information flows, data loads, requirements not met, and alternatives considered.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will perform risk analysis and develop plans to consider the impact of design decisions. You will also build, code, and review user and system interfaces, validation of error correction, processing rules, access, security, audit controls, recovery routines, and contingency procedures.

As part of this role, you will provide level 3 support and production standby post go live. Your experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery methods will be crucial in ensuring successful project outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in IT development. Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods is highly desirable.
