Job Title: Digital Building Integration Engineer

This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of building systems and controls. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and significant experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.

The selected person will collaborate closely with clients and partners to deliver high-quality solutions and provide ongoing support for connected sites. This involves troubleshooting diagnostics, performing automated fault detection on customer equipment, and training users on data transfer services and related networking issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure seamless client and partner delivery and support.
  • Collaborate on onboarding projects and communicate timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct onboarding activities such as installing data collection services, discovering data, and organizing for digital building engineers.
  • Help troubleshoot diagnostics to perform automated fault detection on customer HVAC equipment.
  • Take requests to review findings and validate results reported by software.
  • Train and engage customers and partners on data transfer service, data connectivity, and related networking issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Confident and self-motivated with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5-6 years of related industry experience or 1-2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
  • Exposure to BAS protocols such as BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus.
  • Exposure to BAS networking principles.
