Academic Support Professional

An Academic Support Professional plays a vital role in ensuring the success of students by coordinating instructors, tracking student progress, and providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires excellent English communication skills, as it involves operating seamlessly in a virtual environment and maintaining high standards for academic performance.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate instructors and track student progress to ensure delivery of programs and initiatives for students and school district partners.
  • Provide outstanding academic services to students and their families, while fostering an environment of open communication to ensure positive conflict resolution.
  • Operate in a fully remote setting, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and ability to adapt to changes in work environment.
  • Manage class schedules, staff sessions, and usage targets to meet efficiency goals.
  • Monitor all students' academic progress, conduct conferences with partner program directors, and build relationships with students and their families.
Requirements
  • Effective time management, planning, and prioritization skills to manage multiple responsibilities successfully.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in virtual environments.
  • Able to build engagement and trust in virtual relationships, whether with customers or team members.
  • Proficient in using all communication media, including phone and video.
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
