Job Title: Academic Support Professional

This position is a remote opportunity. Excellent English communication skills are required.

  • The Academic Support Professional plays a crucial role in the success of Tutoring Services by coordinating instructors, tracking student progress, and providing quality customer service.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  1. Support regional operations efficiently
  2. Provide outstanding academic services to students and their families
  3. Operate seamlessly in a virtual environment
  4. Maintain high standards including people, financial, and academic standards
  5. Ensure delivery of programs and initiatives for our students and school district partners
  6. Meet operational excellence standards
  7. Provide virtual administrative support to Regional Operations
  8. Manage class schedules to effectively staff sessions and meet efficiency targets
  9. Manage virtual tutoring sessions
  10. Monitor all students' academic progress
  11. Help ensure flawless execution of programs and initiatives
  12. Manage your own time in compliance with company requirements
  13. Conduct conferences with partner program directors to review progress, adjust plans, and renew enrollments
  14. Other responsibilities - as required by business needs
  15. Relish building relationships with students and their families
  16. Dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external customers

  • Able to acquire new skills as required
  • Ability to engage, manage and grow virtual relationships with customers, employees, and business partners (e.g. local schools)
  • Ability to manage remote teachers
  • Ability to work independently
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-3 years progressive career growth
  • Experience working in a virtual operations and team environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish beneficial
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications
