Test and Validate Digital Banking Builds

About the Role:
  • This is a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical skills in ensuring our digital banking builds meet customer expectations.
  • You will work closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to identify and resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive test cases by reviewing requirements and design documents.
  2. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  4. Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes.
  5. Maintain and execute manual test cases.
  6. Contribute to building and executing automated test scripts.
  7. Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  8. Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory needs.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Expert knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience with using Jira or similar tools.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
  • Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.
