Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily health checks on all database platforms to guarantee system stability.
  • Monitor and analyze incident alerts during your shift, responding promptly to any issues that arise.
  • Document and escalate incidents to senior engineers as needed, creating detailed reports and tickets for future reference.
  • Complete service requests related to database activities, including access management, backup and recovery, data collection, and reporting.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance activities, collaborating with senior engineers to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Execute automated tasks using Ansible playbook templates, optimizing efficiency and reducing downtime.
Required Skills:
  • 0-2 years of experience in database management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with database tools and software such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DB2, and Redis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
