Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to support the private interests and investments of a prominent family office. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in accounting and a proactive approach to ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records of investment portfolios and oversee all related accounting entries. They will also prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the family office and related entities.

In addition, they will ensure timely and accurate consolidation of accounts, including investment vehicles, trusts, and holding companies. They will process and monitor payments, receipts, and intercompany transactions, reconcile bank accounts and investment accounts, and liaise with Fund Managers, Bankers, and System Administrators to resolve discrepancies.

The Accounting Professional will also track and record investment activities, including equities, real estate, private equity, and alternative assets. They will maintain accurate records of asset valuations, income, and distributions, and assist with due diligence and documentation for new investments.

They will identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and risk mitigation, and support the development and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies.

The successful candidate will provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to management and principals, assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and treasury functions, and coordinate with stakeholders as required.

Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a family office, private wealth, or investment environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good spoken and written English and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a small team.
