Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily receipting and bank account administration
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Communicate with clients regarding term deposit investments and maturity dates
- Generate financial reports and reviews as required
- Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts
- Conduct year-end financial checks and accrual journal entries
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Issue contribution levies to owners as necessary
- Organize audits and liaise with external auditors
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of new/lost business
- Prepare and review quarterly BAS statements
- Prepare and review yearly tax returns
- Process management agreement updates and fee corrections
- Review bot exception reports and complete tasks manually
- Coordinate body corporate loans and their management
- Provide information to various parties as required
- Attend finance meetings with external clients (virtually)
- Process payroll and superannuation for building managers employed by OC
- Investigate ad hoc bank deposit recalls and dishonoured payments
Requirements:
- Degree qualification in accounting or a related field
- At least 4 years of accounting experience
- Budget preparation experience
- Familiarity with financial statement analysis (profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow)
- Experience reviewing financial statements and communicating results to stakeholders
- Account reconciliation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in income tax and BAS (desired)
