We're looking for a skilled Romance Editor to strengthen stories without losing the author's voice. You'll guide manuscripts from draft to polished novel, refining emotional arcs, sharpening pacing, and delivering engaging characters.

- Elevate emotional depth, irresistible tropes, and satisfying happily-ever-after conclusions.
- Ensure every line is clean, consistent, and immersive through thorough editing.
- Collaborate with authors via tracked changes, editorial letters, and occasional live calls.
- Balance multiple projects while maintaining high editorial standards.
- At least 3 years of professional editing experience in contemporary romance.
- A portfolio showcasing 3+ published romance novels edited (please provide ISBNs or retailer links).
- Strong ghostwriting or scene drafting experience.
- Advanced command of grammar, dialogue pacing, and formatting.
- Ability to identify and improve sagging middles, elevate tropes, and create compelling character arcs.
- A deep understanding of romance genre expectations, including HEA and HFN differences.
