Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead our threat and incident management efforts. As the Senior Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the IT Operations and Security Head and IT Security Director in detecting and managing information security incidents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the response to security incidents, investigating causes and extent, and preparing executive reports.
  • Serving as technical SME for Data Leak Prevention (DLP) and User Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) controls.
  • Developing and maintaining incident response plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with security instructions.
  • Participating in security incident rehearsals and tabletop exercises.
  • Acting as escalation point for SOC service provider and assessing escalated alerts.
  • Gathering threat intelligence, analyzing security trends, and improving incident response processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a security analyst or incident responder, focusing on threat detection and mitigation.
  • Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools and IP/domain reputation sites.
  • The ability to document security incidents clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of the MITRE ATTACK framework or cyber kill chain.
  • Experience in security operations, incident handling, digital forensics, and industry-standard frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
  • A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
