Job Title: Financial Model Expert

About the Role:

  • Seeking a detail-oriented expert to build and maintain fully integrated financial models.
  • The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, Excel expertise, and experience in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain driver-based forecasting models that connect operational metrics to financial outcomes.
  • Design dynamic revenue and cost drivers for flexible scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct rolling forecasts, update models regularly, and prepare variance analysis.
  • Support finance teams in creating board-ready reports and presentation materials.
  • Maintain model best practices and collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, sales, and executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, FP&A, or related fields.
  • Proven experience building financial models in Excel and understanding GAAP financial statements.
  • Strong ability to translate operational inputs into financial impacts using driver-based logic.
  • Experience creating sensitivity and scenario analyses for strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex models to stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with recurring revenue business models.
  • Experience preparing materials for board meetings or investor updates.
  • Familiarity with BI tools and ERP/accounting systems.
