Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Learning and Development

We are seeking a skilled business analyst to join our learning and development team.

  • Gather data on business requirements, including key learning and development analytics, industry metrics, and benchmarks.
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements.
  • Design, develop, and distribute learning and development metrics reporting and visualization, leveraging business intelligence reporting.
  • Manage learner groups or analysis and assignment of environmental, occupational health & safety (EOHS) regulatory training in coordination with business partners or training leads.
  • Ensure all business processes are documented, uniform, and securely stored.
  • Recommend process improvements for improved efficiencies, removing waste, saving time, and reducing friction.

As a senior business analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for business planning. You will also recommend process improvements by managing documented standard operating procedures.

This role offers a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of learning innovations, partnering with business leaders, corporate L&D and technology teams to improve business processes and gather and report on learning utilization and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Requirements Gathering: Identify and analyze key business requirements to inform strategic decisions.
  2. Customer Needs Assessment: Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements to deliver tailored solutions.
  3. Reporting and Visualization: Design, develop, and distribute metrics reporting and visualization to stakeholders.
  4. Training Management: Manage learner groups or analysis and assignment of EOHS regulatory training.
  5. Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements for improved efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in business analysis, including working with internal business partners and technology leads. They should also have experience in complex problem solving and process improvement, analyzing and recommending solutions.
