We are seeking a dedicated professional to assist our accounting team with tax preparation and filing.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and help clients manage their business finances. As a Tax Preparer, you will work closely with our CPA to provide expert guidance and service to clients from around the world.

You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of tax returns, communicating with clients to resolve their questions and inquiries, and managing client inquiries throughout the year. You will also play a key role in the preparation process, performing tax calculations, inputting data, and researching pertinent information needed to solve filing questions.

In this permanent role, you will have the opportunity to gain direct experience working with clients and developing your skills in tax preparation and filing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You must have active PTIN or ability to obtain prior to tax season.
  • You should be comfortable communicating directly with coworkers, managers, or clients in a remote environment.
  • You have experience preparing and reviewing Federal and State income tax returns for businesses, preparing quarterly estimates, handling tax notices and disputes.
  • You are familiar with tax filings such as form 1120/5472 for non-US residents and form 1065 for partnerships.
