About the Role:

EastWest Bank seeks a skilled Human Resources Professional to join our team as an Ethics and Compliance Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-driven individual who is passionate about upholding ethical standards and ensuring compliance in the workplace.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Code of Discipline and Ethics Implementation: The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and advising on the Code of Discipline and Ethics, ensuring that all employees adhere to its guidelines.
  • Administrative Hearings and Committee Support: They will act as a secretariat during administrative hearings and CODE Committee meetings, providing critical support to these processes.
  • Memos and Communication: Our ideal candidate will prepare memos and ensure timely communication with employees regarding administrative cases.
  • Recommendations and Advice: They will write recommendations for administrative cases and provide advice to managers, supervisors, and staff on personnel practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Grievances and Conflicts Resolution: The Ethics and Compliance Specialist will assist the Team Head in resolving grievances and conflicts between employees, promoting a harmonious work environment.
  • Case Tracking and Reporting: They will regularly review and monitor cases in the case tracker and prepare periodic reports for Risk, Compliance, BSP, and DOLE.
  • DOLE Inspections and Payroll Assistance: Our candidate will assist the Team Head during DOLE inspections, coordinating with business units to obtain required documents/data and consolidating submissions for orderly presentation.
  • Training and Dissemination: They will deliver training or presentations to new hires and other employees on the Code of Discipline and Ethics, ensuring its proper dissemination throughout the organization.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Location: BGC Taguig
  • Education: A college graduate with a degree preferably in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Labor Relations and Counseling.
  • Skills: Good writing and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, knowledge of labor laws and BSP regulations relevant to HR Management.

What We Offer:

As an Ethics and Compliance Specialist at EastWest Bank, you can expect a competitive salary range of PHP 80,000 - PHP 120,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
