Job Description
The Core Network Planning and Engineering team is responsible for designing, configuring, and testing network hardware and related software. The successful candidate will work closely with network element users to identify potential issues and resolve existing problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage hardware and software capacities of Roaming and Signaling nodes by monitoring system performance against traffic trends, providing recommendations, and optimizing node configurations based on standard engineering design.
  • Deliver recommendations and value-added services relative to Roaming and International SMS through assessment of solutions, development of detailed designs, and work plans in collaboration with technical and business teams.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in Electronics & Communications Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the Telco Industry. You should also possess effective oral and written communication skills, as well as teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with core network architecture, including 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G (optional) is highly desirable. Expertise in SS7, Sigtran, and Diameter signaling protocols is also required. Additionally, knowledge of IR21, interconnectivity of IPX Hub, SCCP GW and Roaming Partners, and basic IP networking is essential.
