Job Summary

A Store Head plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and maintaining store standards at the Primer Group of Companies. They oversee daily operations, ensure timely merchandise replenishment, and train direct reports to achieve targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales growth by implementing strategies to meet or exceed sales targets;
  2. Supervise expenses such as utilities and supplies to minimize costs;
  3. Coordinate brand-initiated activities, visual merchandising, and local marketing initiatives;
  4. Prepare and submit daily store operations reports, including sales, inventory, and other qualitative data;
  5. Monitor stock levels and submit timely requests for merchandise replenishment;
  6. Ensure accurate execution of periodic store inventory counts and reporting of inventory variances/losses;
  7. Maintain compliance with store standard operating procedures;
  8. Identify and report equipment issues, such as defective lights, air conditioning problems, signage malfunctions, and connectivity issues;
  9. Develop and lead direct reports to achieve sales targets, adhere to store standards, and evaluate staff performance, including disciplinary actions for career growth.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background: A college degree is required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
  2. Work Experience: Retail experience is beneficial but not necessary;
  3. Strong desire to sell with excellent communication skills.

Training/Skills Requirement

  1. Proficient computer skills, specifically MS Applications;
  2. Effective oral and written communication skills;
  3. High level of leadership and team dynamics skills;
  4. Strong understanding of business goals and customer service standards;
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
