We are looking for a skilled Tender Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

The Role: Tender Engineer

What will you do?

As a Tender Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to review customer requirements and request for quotes (RFQ). You will also be responsible for preparing professional quotations in a timely manner from schematic diagrams and customer specifications.

Your tasks will include:

  • Reviewing customer requirements and RFQs
  • Preparing quotations that meet customer specifications
  • Ensuring timely delivery of quotations
  • Identifying appropriate technical solutions
  • Using Schneider quoting/order booking tools to configure and price selected solutions
  • Submitting completed tender proposals to meet customer deadlines
  • Processing purchase orders onto SAP and/or CPQ
  • Managing multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced work environment

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Who would be successful?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • An accomplished background in understanding schematic and single line diagrams
  • Strong time management and self-organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and systematic approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work under pressure and minimum supervision
