Job Overview

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's technology infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing tasks within Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD, providing technical support to end users, and responding to user inquiries.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing user accounts, groups, security configurations, and access controls
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
  • Responding to user inquiries, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems efficiently
  • Assisting users with software installations, updates, and configuration settings
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT infrastructure
  • Performing regular system maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of system performance
  • Creating and maintaining accurate documentation of IT procedures and user guides

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, including user management, security groups, conditional access, and single sign-on configurations
  • Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation and configuration
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently or by collaborating with relevant teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist end users and communicate with vendors
