Job Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and tech-savvy Financial Administrator to join our dynamic team supporting fast-growing businesses in the jewelry retail industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, streamlining transaction processing, and supporting key automation initiatives using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial tools. The ideal candidate is adaptable, comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording and categorizing daily financial transactions in QBO.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide retail accounting support, including managing inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) allocations, and POS system integration.
  • Assist with financial nuances of jewelry sales, returns, and vendor purchasing.
  • Support Bill.com and payroll administration in coordination with internal systems and external providers.
  • Perform reporting and financial analysis tasks, including generating financial reports and identifying trends for cost optimization or revenue improvement.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a retail or e-commerce setting.
  • Experience working in or with the jewelry industry is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experience using Bill.com is required.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote work environment.
