Job Title: Linux Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Developer to join our team at Nityo Infotech. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Linux systems and infrastructure.

Primary Technical Abilities:
  • Linux Expertise: Minimum RHCE certified with deep technical subject matter expertise and practical experience in Linux technologies.
  • High-Density HPE Enterprise Hardware: Experience working with high-density HPE Enterprise Hardware, including HPE MoonShot and Proliant Servers.
  • Linux Automation: Extensive experience working with Linux automation in large scale in IaC format, including Ansible, Azure/AWS APIs, and Terraform.
  • Cloud Platform Management: Experience in managing Microsoft Azure based cloud platform.
  • Linux Deployment: Extensive experience with Linux deployment in large scale.
  • Scripting Languages: Extensive knowledge in at least one of the major UNIX/Linux scripting languages, including Shell, Perl, and Python.
  • Binary Package Creation: Experience creating Linux binary packages from source, including RPM and DPKG.
  • Enterprise Linux Administration: Enterprise Linux administration skills, preferably based on RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and Debian/Ubuntu LTS.
  • Virtualization: Experience with Linux virtualization, especially QEMU (Linux KVM).
  • System Monitoring: Extensive experience in automation of Linux system monitoring, including Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Icinga, and Cacti.
  • Automated Installation: Extensive experience with automated Linux OS and application installation, including Kickstart.
  • FreeBSD and SIEM: Exposure to FreeBSD and Enterprise SIEM, including Splunk.
  • Embedded Linux: Exposure with embedded Linux.
  • Active Directory and Azure AD: Working knowledge with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD, including SAML based Single Sign-On solutions.
  • VMWare and Windows Server: Working knowledge with VMWare and Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
  • IT Security and Networking: Exposure with IT security concepts and detailed understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
  • Web Services and SOA: High level understanding of Web Services / SOA architecture, SaaS, and PaaS in Microsoft Azure.
Secondary Technical Abilities:
  • Thin/Zero Client Architecture: Experience of Thin/Zero Client architecture.
  • Cloud Architecture: Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.
  • Linux Kernel Internals: Experience with Linux Kernel internals.
  • Other UNIX/UNIX-like OS: Other UNIX/UNIX-like OS experience.
  • SAP Support: Experience of supporting UNIX/Linux systems running SAP.
  • ITIL Framework: Knowledge working within ITIL framework.
Behavior Abilities:
  • Senior Enterprise Linux Experience: Minimum 5 years of Senior Enterprise Linux experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with English speaking mandatory.
  • Technical Documentation and Coaching: Strong technical documentation and coaching skills.
