Job Title: L2 Generalist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2 Generalist to join our team at GECO Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure, including system administration, network management, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure, including system administration, network management, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems, including Windows Server, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect our IT systems and data.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with network management and security.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other technical teams.
Technical Environment:
  • OS Server: Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012 – Linux RedHat Enterprise 6 to 7
  • OS Client: Windows XP to Windows 10
  • Unix: Linux, HP-UX, Solaris and AIX operating systems
  • Software: JIRA, Confluence, Joget and Google applications
  • Microsoft Active Directory
