Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

The role of a cybersecurity engineer is multifaceted and challenging. It involves designing, implementing, and managing security protocols to safeguard an organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing secure network architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Managing email security policies, configurations, and monitoring for enterprise environments.
  • Implementing email hardening, whitelisting, and mailbox cleanup best practices.
  • Administering email security solutions, such as Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, and Mimecast.
  • Leading cloud security administration, ensuring compliance and security best practices.
  • Overseeing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to detect and remediate misconfigurations.
  • Implementing Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP) for cloud application security.
  • Deploying Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions to protect SaaS applications.
  • Strengthening Security Service Edge (SSE) controls, including Zero Trust and Secure Web Gateway.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years specializing in cloud security.
  • Proven background in on-premise security, network security, or infrastructure security before transitioning to cloud security.
  • Hands-on experience in securing Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Expertise in email security solutions, Web Application Firewall (WAF), CSPM, CWPP, CASB, SSE, and digital certificates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
