The Senior Solutions Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering Dayforce configuration that aligns with best practices. This position involves collaborating closely with Implementation project teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm and document customer requirements through meticulous understanding and clarification processes.
  • Consult customers on various options to address business requirements, leveraging best practices, considering downstream effects of configuration choices, applying deep understanding of data flow in Dayforce and 3rd party applications, and optimizing solutions for product performance and cloud resources.
  • Write SQL code to identify, troubleshoot, and fix data as well as configuration issues within the customer's Dayforce instance.
  • Understand, troubleshoot, and modify XML and XSLT code to meet specific requirements.
  • Project Management: create and follow a project plan using effort estimation, outline action items, measure progress, make adjustments, and follow the plan through to completion; provide timely updates to customers; prioritize and manage multiple projects for a customer and maintain strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with customers, Ceridian contacts, and 3rd party vendors to conduct thorough testing to deliver a complete and high-quality solution.
  • Apply negotiation and conflict resolution skills to drive projects to successful resolution.
  • Recommend continued product enhancements to support customer success.
  • Support the Solutions Team by providing mentorship and high-quality training materials, providing solution oversight for projects, creating, documenting, and optimizing team processes.
  • Adhere to Ceridian internal business processes to champion customer success.
  • Demonstrate product expertise/knowledge of the Dayforce application and how various modules interact with and affect each other.

  • Proven experience in Dayforce configuration and customization.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, and XSLT.
