Foreign Exchange Risk Management Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic professional to join our finance team in managing exposure to foreign currency fluctuations across 20+ currencies.

This role is critical to monitoring currency obligations, developing risk mitigation strategies, ensuring cost-effective and compliant currency operations, and measuring the impact of FX movements on business performance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and managing the company's foreign currency exposure across all markets and suppliers.
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts of incoming and outgoing foreign currency flows to support cash flow planning and risk management.
  • Developing hedging strategies to minimize FX risk in line with company risk tolerance.
  • Reconciling FX transactions and providing regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
  • Managing relationships with financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and service levels.
  • Ensuring all FX activities comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to FX risk management processes, systems, and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and hedging techniques.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with multi-currency environments—ideally in the travel or tourism industry.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury management systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Professional certification is an advantage.
