E&C Risk Governance Lead

Overview

The E&C Risk Governance Lead will be part of the Shell Ethics and Compliance Office (SECO) organisation, reporting to the VP of Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Data, Assurance & Risk Governance. The SECO team culture is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and ethical leadership.

This role is essential in ensuring an E&C risk management framework is in place, with effective and efficient governance processes and structures which add value and meet the requirements of the Performance Framework.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manages fit-for-purpose risk management processes to support E&C risk reporting for complex and usual business activities/issues.
  • Maintains the documentation of the E&C risk heatmap and ensures that there is a clear audit trail in decisions on risk management.
  • Monitors changes in the E&C risk environment and the effectiveness of actions taken to manage identified risks.
  • Supports the VP E&C Data, Assurance & Risk Governance in preparing input to the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officers (CECOs) risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and works with E&C Managers on SECO risk reporting processes and outcomes.
  • Coordinates and delivers E&C reporting to support regulatory requirements.
  • Gains insights and works within SECO and legal SMEs and proactively stays abreast of external regulatory developments to identify emerging risk trends.
