Financial Planning Expert

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial analysis role at Globe Telecom.

Job Description:

The Financial Planning Expert is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports and analyses to support business decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of Consolidated P&Ls: Prepare monthly consolidated profit and loss statements, ensuring compliance with established timelines and standards.
  • Management Reporting: Develop and deliver regular management reports to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and executive committee, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and prior periods, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Forecasting and Outlooks: Assist in preparing forecasts and outlooks, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic business decisions.

This position plays a critical role in driving business efficiency and achieving strategic objectives through effective financial planning and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA): Must be a certified public accountant with at least 3 years of external audit or management reporting experience.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Knowledge of Management Accounting: Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
