Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems that ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial facilities.

  • Design installation details, cable routing, trays, and electrical room layouts.
  • Prepare BOQs, review vendor drawings, and validate existing facilities.
  • Draft/review material requisitions and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, oversee FATs, and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with procurement on tracking and documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Client & Technical Interface
  • Respond to technical queries and client comments.
  • Attend meetings, submit deviation requests, and prepare documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections and support quality control.
Interdisciplinary Coordination
  • Lead coordination with Civil, Process, Instrumentation, and Equipment teams.
  • Resolve layout interferences and ensure system integration.
  • Review method statements, testing, and commissioning plans.
  • Support punch list closure, system handover, and operator training.
  • Analyze test results and ensure compliance with standards.
Documentation & Project Control
  • Prepare as-builts, review O&M manuals, and track KPIs.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Report and resolve critical technical issues.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE)
  • 10+ years' experience in industrial plant electrical systems
  • Strong knowledge of PH & international electrical codes
  • Expertise in medium-voltage power distribution
  • Skilled in AutoCAD/E-Tap and power system analysis tools

Preferred:

  • Experience in wastewater treatment plant projects
  • Familiarity with EPC project execution
  • Exposure to managing offshore design teams
